Steve aka Bill the Cat was the PIC when we went to the field in September 1986. Weather was less than minimums. Bill was flying in his comfort zone - and made the field site. Later we met up with Dave Larsen and sparks flew! Great training experience for me!!!!

Steve will be missed - he is playing guitar with our son Kyle! Would love to hear the jams they would play!!!

I knew Steve for 19 plus years, always had a story to tell. What a great person and friend. Going to miss him sorely. Knowing Steve, he's probably smiling at us now.

Having worked with Steve for many years, I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for this great guy! His infectous smile was always there to cheer us and his dedication to the aviation public made him a very popular inspector. He was taken too soon but we celebrate his life. He lived it fully.
