Wayne B. Kroll

Wayne B. Kroll entered his eternal life peacefully on July 6, 2020, joining loved ones who had passed before him. Born on May 3, 1954 in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Warren and Barbara Kroll. He attended Springfield Technical High School and graduated with the Class of 1972. Wayne worked at Maybury as a material handler for 14 years and later as a bus driver with the PVTA until he retired in 2019. He is survived by his wife Theresa Kroll and her son John Rooney, his three daughters Nancy Coelho and husband Daniel, Krystal Kroll and Emily Kroll and fiancé Enrique Rosario. He leaves behind former wife Maria Kroll and in-laws José and Maria Afonso. Two brothers, Glenn Kroll and wife Susan, Robert Kroll and wife Katherine, and sister Kathleen Staples and husband Ronald. Additionally, he leaves four nieces, Erin (Kroll) Peacock, Kirsten (Kroll) Holley, Amanda Faria and Morgan Faria. Two Nephews Tyler Bass and Erik Bass and two grandsons Alexander Coelho and Mason Coelho. With all the wonderful memories created over the years, he will be missed by so many. A memorial service will be held on July 25, 2020 at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow. Calling hours 2pm-3pm with celebration of life service to follow. Masks required and social distancing strictly enforced. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Maine Audubon, a nature preserve in Falmouth, Maine.
