Wayne Scott Graves

West Suffield, CT- Wayne Scott Graves, 57, formerly of Agawam, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday May 2, 2018. He was born at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to the late George H. and Priscilla J. (Haskins) Graves. Wayne was a 1978 graduate of Agawam High School, and throughout his career he was a Route Salesman for over 27 years with both J.J. Nissen and Hostess. Wayne had a love for the lake and enjoyed living the “lake life”. He will be dearly missed by his three adored children, Scott Graves (Liz) of Westfield; Erica (Graves) and husband John Soroka of Philadelphia, PA; and Sarah Graves (Seth) of Westfield; his three siblings, George “Keoki” and wife Debbie Graves of Springfield; Patricia Lecrenski of Westfield and Tina Jackson of Rhode Island; his former wife, Pamela J. Graves of Agawam; several nieces and nephews and their families; many dear friends and co-workers and by his first grandchild who is expected in September. Family and friends are invited to meet for visitation on Wednesday, May 9th from 5 – 7 PM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam with a Celebration of Life service at 7 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private for the family at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Wayne’s memory to Citizens Restoring Congamond (congamond.org).
