Obituary

Victoria Ann (Durant) Natale, 101, of Agawam passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Born July 30, 1917 in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Vittoria (Civitilli) Durant both from Italy. A graduate of Springfield Commerce High School, Victoria worked at F.W. Sickles as well as Security Windows but was most well known as a staple during her cherished time working at the Big E for so many years. Victoria was a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Agawam and was very involved with so many church activities and events over the years. She also enjoyed her time spent volunteering for Big Brothers, Big Sisters as well as Brightside for Families and Children. Victoria loved gardening, playing cards with her family, and bowling but her greatest joy in life was being a loving aunt, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to so many. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, she was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Victoria was predeceased by her husband Anthony P. Natale and her 4 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by her sons Anthony J. Natale and his long time love Elizabeth Lane of Hanson MA, and Michael J. Natale and his wife Kathleen of Agawam MA, as well as her grandchildren Anthony J. Natale, Jr. and his wife Stacy of Foxborough MA, Michael J. Natale, Jr. and his wife Katey of Feeding Hills, MA, and Susan Natale of Agawam MA. Victoria is also survived by her beloved great grandchildren Alana Natale, Dominic Natale, Paxton Howard, Michael J. Natale III, Luca Natale, and Gabe Natale, and several nephews and nieces especially her nephew Billy and nieces Sue and Pat who were such a special part of her life. Funeral services for Victoria will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 beginning at 9:30 AM from Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main Street, Agawam, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial, to be celebrated at 10:30AM, at St. John the Evangelist Church, Agawam. Burial will follow in Agawam Center Cemetery, Agawam. Visiting hours will be held from 4-7PM on Wednesday, March 6th at the funeral home. For online condolences, please visit www.forastiere.com.
