WALES, MA – Teresa A. Hernandez, 61, passed away on April 9, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Providence, RI, on January 4, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Gordon E. Watt and Mary E. (Crawford) Watt.

She had worked at Tyco Fire & Integrated Solutions in Manchester, CT as an inspector. In her spare time, Teresa enjoyed cooking and also loved dancing and going to the beach.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Gordon E. Watt and sister Christine Pulchtopek. To cherish her memory, Teresa leaves her loving husband of 41 years and childhood sweetheart, Miguel Hernandez of Wales; her daughter Elizabeth Hernandez; her grandchildren Savannah, Xavier, and Nicholas; her brothers James Watt, Cleveland Watt and his wife Gwenn, Phillip Watt and Arthur Watt; nieces and nephews Mark, Michelle, Nicole, Alexandria, Anthony, Chris, Karol, James, Timothy, Crystal and Ashley; her sisters-in-law Maria Hernandez, Rosa Rolon and Myrna Gomez as well as her longtime friend Kathy Martin.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 10 AM – 12 NOON at Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 45 Locust Street, Springfield followed by a service at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bay Street, Springfield.
