Suzanne T. Baker

LONGMEADOW – Suzanne T. Baker, 74, passed away on November 22, 2018. Born in Springfield, MA on April 18, 1944 to the late Thomas J. and Theresa F. (Dowd) Kirby, she graduated from Cathedral High School in 1962. For many years, she had worked at Springfield Technical Community College as an administrative assistant before her retirement. Suzanne enjoyed vacationing at Cape Cod, Florida and Maine but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings Thomas Kirby and Patricia Uribe. To cherish her memory, Suzanne leaves her loving husband Jeremiah M. Baker of East Longmeadow; her children Michael T. Baker and his wife Ann Marie, Sheila M. Dupre and her husband Gary and Brenda A. Bayhan and her husband Gokhan as well as her grandchildren Nicholas, Daniel and William Baker and Ayla and Aedan Bayhan. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the staff on C1 and C2 at the Jewish Nursing home, Spectrum Hospice and Ruth’s House for their care. Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 4 - 7 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 beginning at 8:45 AM AM at the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Michael’s Parish, 128 Maple Street, East Longmeadow.
