Sonia Ann Dore

Sonia Ann Dore, 48, of West Springfield, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Holyoke, MA on December 18, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Giselle Carriveau. She attended the Southwick-Tolland Regional Public School system. She recently retired from the Department of Developmental Services with the State of Massachusetts. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Nick Barnes, her daughters, Casey Dore and Jamie Mancini and her husband Joe; her beloved granddaughter, Miley Mancini; her brother Dan Carriveau and his wife Marissa; her sisters, Catherine Maciolek and her husband Tom, and Sue Leahy-Scott and her husband John; her best friends, Tina Woodin, and Angela Jodoin and her husband Matt; as well as many loving friends and extended family members. She was predeceased by her sister, Denise Housand. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, September 16th from 2-3 PM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam with a Funeral Service to take place at 3 PM.
