Sandra E. Jorey

East Longmeadow- Sandra E. (Tilden) Jorey, 77, wife of 52 years to the late Harold Jorey, passed away on December 27, 2018. She was born in Enfield, Connecticut on April 29, 1941 daughter of the late Fred and Edith (Merrifield) Tilden; and was a resident of East Longmeadow for over 50 years. Sandra was also preceded by 2 brothers James and Fred Tilden; and one sister Patricia Lynch. Sandra is survived by her two daughters and husbands, Suzanne Jorey and Stephen Rogers of Belchertown, Lynn and Glenn Giglio of Manchester, Connecticut; a brother and his wife, Eugene and Janet Tilden of Springfield; two grandchildren, Kyle Henrich of Chicopee, Taylor Henrich and her fiancée Stephen MacFeat of Enfield, Connecticut; 2 great grandchildren, Dahlia and Gavin.
A funeral service will take place at 10:00AM on Friday (Jan. 4, 2019) in the Forastiere Smith Family Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. Inurnment will follow in the Thompsonville Cemetery, Pleasant Road, in Enfield, Connecticut. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society, 171 Union St. , Springfield, MA 01105.
