Sabrina Haraty

On Sunday, June 14, 2020, Sabrina “Bina” Marie Haraty passed away suddenly at the age of 23 years. She was born January 5, 1997 in Springfield, MA, daughter of Mark Haraty of Springfield and Tammy Cassavant of Ware. Sabrina grew up in Palmer, MA and was a graduate of Palmer High. She recently graduated from Westfield State with her Bachelor’s Degree, which she was most proud of. She will be remembered for her outgoing, fun, and loving personality. Besides her parents, Sabrina will be forever remembered by her father's significant other Joann Murray, and mother's husband Mark Cassavant, along with her 3 sisters, Chelsea Haraty and her significant other Devan Summers of Springfield, Samantha Heffernan and her husband Trever of Palmer, and Leanna Haraty of Springfield. She also leaves her 3 stepbrothers, Garrett, Hunter, and Pierce Cassavant of West Brookfield, her significant other Seth Cupak, and her grandparents, Maryann Haraty of East Longmeadow, Chet Murnane and his wife Bonnie of Goldsboro, NC, and Patricia Thibodeau of Fort Meyers, FL. Sabrina will also be deeply missed by her uncle Scott Haraty and his wife Lynette of Kenosha, WI and their children Lauren and Matthew and by her many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Robert E. Haraty Jr. Sabrina’s relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday June 21st, from 3:00 to 7:00PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation on 220 North Main Street in East Longmeadow. We know that Sabrina and her family are well loved and your support is appreciated. In order for the family to greet all guests, please follow the guidelines of social distancing, limit your time with the family, wear facemasks, and interacting in groups is discouraged within the funeral home.  We appreciate your patience. Committal will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery 421 Tinkham Road in Springfield.
