Obituary
Roseanne Brouillard passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023, at Tidelands Community Hospital in South Carolina, with her loving children by her side. Born in Troy, VT, Roseanne was the daughter of the late Imelda (Robillard) and Albert Beaudry. She attended schools in Vermont, married Leonel Brouillard, and they started their own family where they settled in Western Massachusetts. She was a former member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Westfield. Roseanne took on challenges with stride and was independent at an early age. Perhaps her independence was sparked from being one of six children growing up on a farm in Vermont, or from her husband Leo passing early in their lives in 1986. Roseanne forged on, continued her education to receive GED and then her associate degree and became an administrator in the Continuing Education Department at Holyoke Community College for many years. Prior to working at the college, she worked for Lesnow Manufacturing and Buxton. Roseanne will be remembered for her meticulous nature, an avid reader, and her joy for baking, especially fudge for the holidays. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved children, daughter Rita Comtois of Murrells Inlet, SC, and her son Roland Brouillard and his wife Victoria of Groton CT; her grandchildren: Sherri Laflamme and her fiancé Nick Rufo, Keith Comtois and his wife Lynn, Eric Brouillard and his wife Christina, and Cara Brouillard and her husband Alex Mitchell; her great-grandchildren: Stefani and Justin Laflamme, Jordyn, Paige and Makynlee Comtois, Colin McGrady, Marietta and Francis Brouillard; one great-great-granddaughter Zoe Laflamme; her sister Lorraine (Durward), her sister-in-law Roseanne Beaudry; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Roseanne was predeceased by two infant daughters, her son-in-law Bernard Comtois, her siblings: Jeannine Kennison (Larry), Florence Lantagne (Larry), Robert Beaudry (Patty) and Gerard Beaudry. Services for Roseanne will be celebrated on Friday, March 15, 2024 where friends and family may gather for visiting hours from 10:00-11:30am, followed by a service at 11:30am at Southwick Forastiere Funeral & Cremation on 624 College Highway, Southwick MA.
