Rosalie S Ward

Rosalie Libiszewski (Ward), 77, of Wilbraham entered into everlasting life at home surrounded by the love and devotion of her family on March 31st. She and her twin sister were born in Springfield on October 17th to the late Anthony and Rosalie Libiszewski. Rosalie was a graduate of Cathedral High School and Bay Path University where she received a degree in business. She worked for many years as a medical secretary. She later retired as a member of the Teamsters local 404. Rosalie was a dedicated mother and grandmother whose family was her world. She was also a lover of animals and a passionate advocate for them thru her membership with PETA. She will forever be missed by her constant companion and daughter Kelly Albano and her husband Alphonse of Wilbraham, and her loving grandchildren Gianna, Sofia, and Joseph. She also leaves her twin sister Katherine Kilbride of West Suffield, CT; her sisters in law Christine Ward and Eileen Ward; as well as her nieces Erin Bowler of Enfield, and Georgianna Karlak of Terryville, CT. Rosalie will also be missed by her two dogs: Penny and Emma. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Anthony. Her family wishes to extend their sincere thanks her physician of over 30 years, Dr. T.K. Raman for his years of dedicated care. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Forastiere Smith Funeral home at 220 North Main St in East Longmeadow on Thursday, April 8th for a period of visitation from 5-7pm. Her funeral will begin on Friday April 9th at 9:30 at the funeral home, with a liturgy of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church at 11am. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family.
