Robert "Bob" Francis Sheets

Robert F. (Bob) Sheets passed away on May 2, 2022.
He was born on April 21, 1962 to the late Rena (Mastrangelo) & Richard “Dick” Sheets.
He was a 1980 graduate from East Longmeadow High and went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree at Western New England College.
Born in Springfield and lived in East Longmeadow for most of his life. Bob started his working career at 16 years old at “The Saw” (American Saw & Mfg. Co.) where he made his way to Facilities Manager and lastly Facilities Manager at East Village Place where he especially enjoyed making friends with the residents and their families.
Bob’s favorite pastime was in the kitchen making gourmet Sunday dinners and drinking wine with his family. He was an avid Boston sports fan especially the Bruins and Patriots.
Bob married Diane (Newton) April 16, 1993, but were together for more 39 years. He was the proud father of Adam and Leah Sheets (Fiancé Ben Belden).
Bob also leaves his brothers David (Kathy) and Bill (Shannon). He will be sadly missed by his Niece and Nephew Jessica and Nicholas Sheets.
To honor Bob’s life, friends and family may gather on Monday May 9, 2022 from 4-7 PM for visiting hours at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 N Main St. East Longmeadow MA. A service will follow at 7 PM. A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
