Robert David Raymond

Robert David Raymond sadly passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at home with his loving and devoted wife by his side. Born in Springfield he was a son of the late Ellen (Fleming) and Harold Raymond. He was a 1971 graduate of Agawam High School and was former communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. He was Lead Machine Operator at Rex Lumber Company for 35 years. He loved his job and only retired due to health reasons. He enjoyed the ocean and always looked forward to spending time at the beaches of New England. Robert was an avid sports fan, especially the Red Sox and Patriots.
He is survived by his loving wife Regina (Oraa) Raymond of Enfield CT; his stepchildren Christopher and Amanda Huchro of Enfield; his sister Janet Lalli of Worcester; his three brothers William of Agawam, John of Tarpon Springs FL, and Donald Raymond of Dennis MA; and Sheelagh Roache of West Springfield.
Visiting hours for Robert will be Friday, September 10, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation at 985 Main Street in Agawam. Burial will be private.
