Agawam – Robert D. Cross, 61, passed away unexpectedly at home Monday, November 12, 2018. Born June 19, 1957 in Springfield, MA, he was a son to the late Leonard R. and Rita B. (Huot) Cross. He graduated from Cathedral High School and also Western New England College where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Robert worked as a real estate contractor for several years throughout the area and was a former member of the Greater Springfield Homebuilders Association. He was a longtime member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and for many years was in instructor in their safe boating courses. He enjoyed playing tennis with his friends and was an avid Boston sports fan, especially enjoying the Bruins—in good years and bad!
