Pearl M. Farrell

SPRINGFIELD- Pearl M. (Goodwin) Farrell, age 90, passed away peacefully on her birthday, June 1, 2019 at Armbrook Village, Westfield. She was surrounded by her loving and caring family. Pearl was the wife of John J. Farrell who preceded her in 1983, following 33 years of marriage. Born and educated in Springfield, Pearl was the daughter of the late Ira C. and Miriam (Baker) Goodwin. She retired in 1994 from the Farm Credit Bank located in Agawam. Previously, she worked for 17 years at the former King’s Department Store/Ames East Longmeadow.  She is survived by her son, Mark B. Farrell of East Longmeadow; two daughters Chris L. LeBlanc and her husband Ed (aka "Beaker") of Springfield; Donna Sevila-Tisdell and her husband Tony Tisdell of Westfield; one grandchild, Jeremy Sevila of Westfield, two great grandchildren, Jaide and Skylir Sevila of Westfield; Grand pets Mork and Mindy Leblanc and Peanut, Pepper and Mookie Tisdell. Pearl loved life, dancing, bingo, shopping (tag sales and Savers her favorites) and having fun times with friends. A special "Thank You" to the angels of care and compassion at the Compass Memory Neighborhood at Armbrook Village for all they did for Pearl to make her part of their family. Funeral services are at 10:00 AM Saturday (June 8, 2019) at the Forastiere Smith Family Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow with burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Tinkham Rd., Springfield.
