Paula McGilvery

Paula McGilvery passed away on unexpectedly April 18, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Catherine McGilvery. Paula was born in Boston on October 13, 1951. She began her career at John Hancock and progressed through the insurance industry as a claims specialist, and later as a disability insurance policy expert. Her successful career took her to Connecticut, and the Carolinas before retiring to the Berkshires in 2016. She leaves behind her beloved son, Christopher Tebeau and her nieces, Denise Armstrong and Nicole Gauthier, as well as many friends across the country. Those who knew her remember her for her sense of humor and ability to laugh at the slightest provocation. For that reason, Paula expressly wished for people to celebrate life, hers and theirs, rather than mourn for what has passed. Paula’s celebration will be held at a date to be determined.
