Norma Wilson
February 18, 1934 ~ October 28, 2020 (age 86) 86 Years Old
Norma Clausen Wilson, age 86, passed away at Mary’s Meadow Nursing Home on October 28, 2020 peacefully after a long battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia. She was a strong, independent woman that loved her family immensely. She was predeceased by her father Roy Darrah and mother Nola Eggleston Clausen and her adoptive father Nicolas Clausen, former husband Edison Sloan Wilson and grandson John Nicolas Wilson, Jr. She is survived by her sons John Wilson (Diane Wilson) of Feeding Hills, MA and Sloan Wilson (Kim Wilson) of Franklin, NC, her grandchildren Jamie Mason (Dave), Sara Wilson (Dre), Brittany Mashburn (Clinton), Brooke Keener (BJ), Morgan Wilson, Matthew Wilson and John Wilson. Her great grandchildren Madelyn Semprit, Kiley Mashburn, Kole Mashburn, Mason Mashburn and Rowen Keener. She also leaves her brother Wayne Clausen (Nancy) and their children Jennifer Clausen Whiteman (Dave), Charles Artcher Clausen (Michele) and Wayne Nicolas Clausen (Diane), all of NC, half-sister Phyllis Scheriff (Jack), and children Scott (deceased), Andrea and Michael, all of NY, half-brother James Darrah of TN and children Brooke of NY and Karl of TN. She attended Bryant College in RI and was a Nursing Home Administrator in Cortland, NY in her early years, she also worked as a secretary for Pepsi-Cola in Windsor, CT and retired as a legal secretary for Attorney Henry Rigali of Springfield, MA. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, and at Norma’s request there will be no services. Burial will be private at Memory Gardens in Albany, NY at a later date.
