Miguel Angel Hernandez

Miguel Angel Hernandez lost his battle with cancer on May 31, 2021 after a yearlong illness. Born Jan. 27, 1962 in San Lorenzo Puerto Rico, he was a son to the late Miguel Hernandez and Gertrudis Caraballo. He grew up in Springfield, MA where he attended local schools. Miguel was a long time employee with TTM Technologies in Stafford Springs, CT retiring following over 30 years of service. He also owned and operated Northern Star Productions, a DJ service where he loved playing music for parties and weddings. He was predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Teresa A. (Watt) Hernandez. He leaves behind his daughter Elizabeth Hernandez; three grandchildren Savannah, Xavier and Nicholas; three sisters Maria Hernandez, Rosa Rolon and Myrna Gomez; brother Jose A Rivera of Puerto Rico; nephews and nieces Benjamin Ortiz, Myrna Ortiz, Eddie Ortiz, Harry Rolon, Luis Rolon, Tommy Antrum, Jasmin Valladolid and Jaydin Fielding. He will also be missed by his additional family of nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and countless friends. Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 10AM-12PM at Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 45 Locust St., Springfield followed by a service at 12PM Noon.
