Matthew Eric Fisher

Matthew Eric Fisher, 39, of Enfield, CT; passed away unexpectedly July 10, 2021. Born August 22, 1981 in San Antonio, TX, he was the son of Dan Fisher Jr. and Debra Carter. Matt enjoyed fishing, golfing, NASCAR, and working on his vehicles. He possessed the ability to fix almost anything and his calming personality was always comforting when he was assisting the elderly. His greatest passion in life, however, was spending time with his family, especially his boys Tyler and Trystan. He was a loving father, son, companion, brother, uncle, nephew and good friend who will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents Dan L. Fisher Jr. and his wife, Ann of Newington, CT and Debra L. Fisher-Carter and her husband, Zayle of Southwick, MA; he is survived by his sons Tyler and Trystan Fisher, and the love of his life, Kaleigh Harris all of Granby, CT; brothers Alexander N. Carter and his wife, Andrea, Dan L. Fisher III, Jared B. Fisher and his wife, Ina, Jacob A. Fisher and his wife, Nicole, and Anthony B. Fisher; sisters Valerie Cole and her husband, Stuart and Adrienne Fisher; nieces and nephews Kyle, Haley, Joshua, Elijah, Brayden, Landyn, Ashdyn, Mia, Alexia, Clara, William and Oliver; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Anthony Steven Carter. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 11AM on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA with burial following in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Ware, MA. Calling hours will be held from 9-11AM prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
