Born on Jan. 10, 1926, she was raised and educated in Springfield and grew up in the South End, where she made many lifelong friends. Always a hard worker, her many jobs included Steiger’s Tea Room, Jaycox Restaurant and McDonald’s in Westfield where she and Paul resided for over 30 years. After retirement, she stayed active volunteering at Noble Hospital and the Westfield Senior Ctr. and enjoyed singing with the “Do Re Mi’s”. Mary happily enjoyed trips to Mohegan Sun Casino and tag sales in the summer and spending time with her many friends. She brought life and energy to everything she did and joy to everyone lucky enough to have known and loved her. She is survived by her 4 cherished children, Andrea (Dennis) Parrott, Paula (Charles) Maak, Michael (Tina) Gibbs and Katie Ann (Alan) LeMaire; 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She will dearly miss them all, along with her 3 ex-daughters-in-law with whom she maintained close relationships. Her family was always the most important thing in the world to her and her kind thoughtful and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be missed beyond all measure.
