Marjorie D. Banning

EAST LONGMEADOW – Marjorie D. Banning, 92, passed away on April 28, 2022. Born in Springfield, MA on June 12, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marjorie (Heath) Spaulding.

For 27 years, she worked at Milton Bradley, retiring in 1993. She was also a member of the Morning Glory Walkers and the East Longmeadow Council on Aging.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son James Banning, who passed away in 2018. To cherish her memory, Marjorie leaves her sons Bruce Banning and Brian Banning; her daughter-in-law Nancy Banning; her grandchildren Amy, Scott, Sarah Mae and Heather as well as her 3 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 10 – 11 AM at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow. A service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield, MA.
