Marie (Sidelinker) Ohlemacher
1963 – 2021


SPRINGFIELD – Marie Ohlemacher, 57, passed away on September 7, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Oahu, Hawaii on September 14, 1963, she was a graduate of Cathedral High School.

Marie was the former Parish Secretary at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Springfield and also previously worked at Catholic Health East as an administrative assistant. In her spare time, she was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, camping and playing online games.

To cherish her memory, Marie leaves her husband Jack A. Ohlemacher; her mother Delores (Paroli) Sidelinker; her siblings Angela “Big” St. Pierre and her husband Dennis, Connie “Pia” Georgeopolus and her husband Peter, Raymond “Ray” Sidelinker and his partner Toni and Paulette Sidelinker as well as her nephews Jeremiah Avery, Isaac Avery, Erik Sidelinker, Michael Torcia and her niece and goddaughter Amanda Torcia.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 2 – 4:30 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow followed by Words of Remembrance at 4:30 PM.
