Feeding Hills – Marie Berry, 71, of Feeding Hills, passed away peacefully Friday August 27, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Marie was born March 12, 1950 in Northampton, MA, the daughter of the late Tallis and Eunice (Magee) Ruskowski. She was a 1968 graduate of Northampton High School and went on to further her education graduating in 1971 from Holyoke Hospital School of Nursing where she obtained her nursing degree. Marie dedicated her life to helping others as a Registered Nurse in various local hospitals, schools and private practices. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, trips to the casino, as well as walks, traveling and spending time at the beach with her late husband John, the love of her life. Marie’s greatest joy, however, was raising and caring for her family. Marie will be remembered as a kind, graceful soul who opened her heart and home to all who visited throughout the years and embraced all of her children’s friends as if they were her own. In addition to her husband John, she was predeceased by her sister Helene Ruskowski. Marie is survived by her children, Patrick Berry and YuLim, Kathleen Berry and Jason Mann, Megan Berry–Martino and Jason, Melissa Prussman and David and Kristin O’Hare and Patrick; her adored grandchildren, Olivia Nolan, Emma Grabiec, Tristan Berry, Liam Berry, Maggie O’Hare and Talus O’Hare; numerous cousins, sister-in-law, nieces, and other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to meet for a period of visitation on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10AM – 11:30AM at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam followed by a 11:30AM remembrance ceremony at the funeral home.
