Luis A Escobar

SPRINGFIELD – Luis A. Escobar, 95, passed away on May 9, 2020. Born in Madruga, Cuba on June 21, 1924 to the late Andres and Josefa (Rizo) Escobar, he had attended the University of Havana. Luis and his wife Elba immigrated to the United States with their sons in 1962.
For 28 years, he was employed at Mass Mutual before retiring in 1990. He also owned and operated his own Accounting and Tax Practice.
Besides his parents, Luis was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elba (Lima) Escobar who passed away on August 3, 2017, his brother Tomas Escobar and his sister Giselda Escobar. He leaves his sons, Luis E. Escobar and his wife Louise of Feeding Hills, and Carlos Escobar of Monson and his partner Tina Cipriani; his grandson, Adam Escobar and his wife Kristen and his great-grandchildren Jackson and Thomas.
Funeral services will be private and have been entrusted to Forastiere Smith Funeral Home.
