Louis Dalessio

Louis A. Dalessio, 101, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018. Born in Westfield, MA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Sarah (DiSanti) Dalessio. Louis, affectionately known as Lou the Shoe, owned and operated National Shoe Repair for many years as a cobbler and then had a stand inside of Bay State West. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Felix and Roger Dalessio and 1 sister, Concetta Dalessio. He leaves his sister-in-law, Corina Dalessio of East Longmeadow and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Forastiere Smith Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
