Lorraine L. Pasquale

Lorraine L. (Sabourin) Pasquale, 91, beloved mother, grandmother, and GG, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 in her home in the presence of her loving daughters. Lorraine was born in November of 1930 in Holyoke, MA to the late Ernest and Lena (Jenard) Sabourin. She was raised and educated in Holyoke and later became a long time resident of East Longmeadow where she raised her own family. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Robert L. Pasquale of 70 years, her brothers Raymond and Henry Sabourin, and her sister Jeannette Yelle. She leaves her loving daughters Cheryl Cummings and her husband Kerry of Belchertown, Cynthia Topitzer and her husband Timothy of Longmeadow, and Laurie-Ann Walas of Ludlow as well as seven grandchildren; Nicole Cummings, Samantha (Cummings) Dominik, Jessica, Ellen, and Lena Topitzer, Zachary and Brianna Walas, and two great grandchildren, Hunter and Autumn Dominik. Lorraine was an active member of the East Longmeadow Senior Center and served as the Sunshine Lady for the Friendship Club for many years. Visiting hours will be held from 9:30-10:30AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial, to be celebrated at 11:30AM, in St. Patrick’s Church, 1900 Allen St., Springfield. Burial will take place in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospital, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
