Lorraine Irene (LaBelle) Favreau, 94, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She was born on August 16, 1927 to the late Leo and Irene (Tetreault) Labelle in Chicopee MA. She graduated from Cathedral High School, and went on to be trained as an X-Ray Technician at a Worcester Hospital. She worked for many years in the office of the late Dr. David Goldberg and other physicians and surgeons in the Springfield Area.
She enjoyed being social with her friends going to the theater with her lady friends and playing bingo. She was a woman of strong faith, and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Springfield.
In 2018 she went to Fort Myers, Florida to live with her daughter although she wasn’t fond of South Florida humidity. But, she was able to see several Spring Training Games of her favorite Boston Red Sox
She leaves behind her daughters Carol Davis and her husband Dan, and Lynn LaBrie and her husband Alfred, her grandchildren Keith Hanson and Melissa Booth and her husband Matt, and her great-grandson Ian Daniel.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Albert “Al” Favreau Jr. and her brother Lionel “Red” LaBelle.
There will be no calling hours. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday June 9, 2022 at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA. Internment will immediate follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fuller Road, Chicopee MA.
