Lisa M. Schneider

Lisa Mae Schneider (September 26, 1972- September 18, 2020) of Chicopee, MA, beloved daughter, sister, niece, auntie, and friend, passed away suddenly but peacefully at the age of 47 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA with dad and Cara by her side. Lisa was born on September 26, 1972 in Holyoke, MA , She was a graduate of West Springfield, MA High School, had taken many courses of interest at Springfield Technical Community College, and was a previous member of the Civil Air Patrol at Barnes Air National Guard Base. Lisa loved painting, drawing, writing, and poetry, signing many of them “Aurora” and sharing them as gifts often with family and friends. She had an affinity for animals, especially a love of horses. Lisa would want everyone to remember her just as fondly and deeply as she loved and cared about all of you. Lisa leaves behind by her father, Ronald L. Schneider and wife Cara (Cheney) of Ludlow, MA; her mother, Linda (Jones) Schneider and her significant other Thomas McNulty of West Springfield, MA; and her siblings, Robin (and James) LeBlanc of Mashpee, MA, Christina (and Wayne) Falardeau of Westfield, MA, Bonnie (and Philip) McKenzie of Feeding Hills, MA, Ronald D. Schneider of Ludlow, MA, Bridget C. Schneider of Ludlow, MA; her loving niece and nephews, Andrew and Jennifer Falardeau, and Iain McKenzie; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her adoring grandparents. Lisa’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Pastor Chuck (Shivley) and his wife Caryl; Lisa’s lifelong friend Melissa (Missy) Gregoire; and all of Lisa’s caregivers over the years. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday October 1, 2020 from 4-6pm in Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam MA. A Funeral Home Services will be held on October 1, 2020 at 6 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Island Pond Cemetery in Ludlow, MA. Flowers and remembrances may be made in the form desired by friends and family.
