SOUTHWICK – Lila G. Burns, 98, passed away on January 16, 2019. Born in Hartford, CT on August 23, 1920 to the late Leslie T. and Charlotte R. (Little) Goodrich, she was a graduate of Bloomfield High School, Class of 1938. Before retiring in 1965, she had worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Unemployment. In her spare time, Lila enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading. She will be fondly remembered by her family as being a wonderful wife and mother. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Gladys Dunbar and Ginger Wheeler as well as one grandchild, Berlyn Cosman. To cherish her memory, she leaves her husband Robert B. Burns; her sons Rev. Jay L. Croft, Mark G. Cosman and Kim B. Cosman; step-daughter Lillian Sambraus; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
