Konstanty Dziki

LONGMEADOW – Konstanty Dziki, 93, passed away on October 10, 2018 at the Jewish Nursing Home in Longmeadow. Born on July 28, 1925 in Bodaki, Poland, he was the son of the late Stefan and Maria (Koxodsiejesyk) Dziki. He had bravely fought in World War II.
Before retiring, he worked for many years as a lineman for New England Telephone Co. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed Western and Cowboy movies and T.V. Shows.
Predeceased by his parents and siblings, Konstanty leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Filomena (Precanico) Dziki of Longmeadow, daughter Ann Marie Staples and her husband Stan of Enfield, CT, grandson Ken Cook and his wife Heather of Longmeadow and great grandson Kyle Tucker.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 beginning at 8:45 AM at the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Longmeadow.
