Kenneth George Wallberg

Kenneth G. Wallberg, 61, of West Springfield, MA and formerly of Milford, CT where he was raised; passed away unexpectedly July 6, 2021. Born May 16, 1960 in Bridgeport, CT, he was a son of the late George Joseph and Dorothy (Martin) Wallberg. Ken held several management positions over the years within the automotive industry including Jiffy Lube and Samaritania Inc., where he proudly assisted countless stranded individuals and their vehicles. Prior to his automotive career, Ken was a manager for Subway in Milford, CT where he met the love of his life Karen M. Lavallee. Together they shared over 40 years of marriage. Ken enjoyed playing video games with his grandchildren and was a talented graphic/web designer. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Karen, Ken is survived by his daughters Kathryn Mary Wallberg and her husband, Miguel Correa of Milford, MA and Kimberly Dawn Thomas and her husband, Robert Vanderheyden of Green Island, NY; grandchildren Nicholas, Angel, Lola, Kylie, Krista and Alexander; great-grandson Matthew; brothers Wayne Martin Wallberg and his partner Stacey Smart, Gary Lee Wallberg and his wife, Diane, Glenn Robert Wallberg and his wife, Catherine and William John Wallberg; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. He will also be missed by his loyal canine companions Barney and Rebecca. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister-in-law Jennifer Wallberg. A Celebration of Life Ceremony for Ken will be held at 11AM on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Colonial Forastiere Funeral home, 985 Main St., Agawam, MA. A private interment will be held at the convenience of his family.
