Obituary

Feeding Hills – Kenneth Charles Walker, 57, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away on July 12, 2018 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Springfield to the late Charles and Dorothy (Rosner) Walker. Graduated from Agawam High School in 1978 and worked as an auto mechanic and manager in the automotive service industry for many years. For the past 14 years he was working as an appliance repair technician for Regency Service Company in Feeding Hills. Ken had a knack for fixing things and truly enjoyed his job. His passion was riding motorcycles with his wife, Cheryl as they toured covered bridges throughout the New England States. He was a WWII history buff and built model planes and cars. Throughout his illness Ken remained positive and his determination to live inspired us all. His granddaughter Taylor was the apple of his eye. He will be greatly missed for his kind and loving ways and his homemade chocolate chip cookies. He leaves his loving wife, Cheryl (Nay) Walker and their children Timothy, Jeffrey, and Victoria Walker all of Feeding Hills; his cherished granddaughter, Taylor; his brothers, Robert Walker and his wife Debbie of Kissimmee, FL and Richard Walker and his wife Judy of Agawam. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 16th from 4-7PM at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam. Ken’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 17th at 10AM in the First Baptist Church, 337 Piper Road, West Springfield followed by burial in Agawam Center Cemetery.
