Obituary

Feeding Hills – Kay Lola (Parent) Korob, 83, passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Kay was born in Agawam to the late Helen and Wendell Miller and she lived in Agawam all her life. She married her high school sweetheart Francis “Knobby” Korob and together they raised a family. Kay worked at Kimball Container in Feeding Hills for many years. She was a devoted grandmother and home maker. She finished her working career at The Pride in Feeding Hills. Kay was passionate about sewing and baking, she loved cruising and going to the casinos. She leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years Francis Korob of Feeding Hills, her daughters Donna (Fred) Miodowski of Windsor CT and Michelle Littlefield of Feeding Hills, her sister Marcella Cecchet of Mesa AZ, 4 grandsons, 3 great-grandkids and 3 nieces and nephews. Kay’s family would like to thank Dispatch Health and Mary Anne at Hospice of Western Mass for all her efforts and compassion. Kay’s wishes were to have no services and she will be buried at the Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam privately with family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield MA 01104 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka KS 66675.
