Springfield- Joseph V. Vedda age 88, died May 25, 2021 in Hartford Hospital.

He was born and raised in  Springfield on February 9,1933 the son of the late Joseph V. and Beatrice (Evangelist) Vedda; and only lived in Connecticut the last 5 month of his 88 years because he had to. He graduated from Technical High school.  He was honorably discharged from the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement Joseph was employed by Monsanto Company as an electrician for 40 years. He leaves a son Vincent Vedda, a daughter Andrea Leone, a sister Barbara Miller of Nevada, a grandchild Gina Steffanides; and nieces Bonnie Stillman of Nevada and Lori Craig of Oregon.
