Joseph P. Catallozzi

Joseph P. Catallozzi, 65, formerly of Springfield, MA, passed away March 28, 2020 at the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke surrounded by his loving caretakers. He was born in Springfield to the late Edmund and Florence Catallozzi. He leaves two sisters Dolores and Lori, his brother-in-law Jacob Brown III, nephew Jacob Brown IV, niece Marjorie Brown and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins. Joseph graduated from Cathedral High in 1973. He proudly and honorably served in the US Navy for 12 years. He worked at The Hartford for 19 years as an IT Business Consultant Supervisor retiring in 2007. His passion was writing poetry and he had published two books of poetry in his lifetime. A private family service will be held in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 264 Cottage St., Springfield, MA 01104.
