Jeremy Vella

Southwick – Jeremy Ryan Vella, 24, beloved son, brother, grandson and uncle, died unexpectedly on December 28, 2018. He was born in Hartford, CT, the son of Thomas M. Vella and Karen (Sweeney) Vella. Jeremy was a 2013 graduate of Suffield High School and went on to further his education attending classes at Asnuntuck Community College. He was currently working on landscape design for Total Home Services in Southwick. Jeremy had many interests including physical fitness, organics, playing his guitar, skateboarding, snowboarding, and motorcross racing. He also enjoyed exploring New York City. He was a smart and curious young man and a wonderful conversationalist, who wanted to change the world for the better. We will all dearly miss this beautiful soul, who had room in his big heart for everyone. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Rosario T. Vella and his maternal grandmother Katharine DePatie. He leaves behind his father, Thomas M. Vella and his life-partner Angela M. Fragione of Southwick; his mother, Karen S. Vella and her fiancé Timothy Duntz of Canton, CT; his niece, Hailey Vella; his sister, Lauren Vella and her husband Andrzej Golaszewski of Marlborough, CT; his grandmother Jane (Vella) Higgins and her husband William Higgins of Enfield, CT; and his grandfather, Russell DePatie of Andover, CT; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, January 6 th from 3-6PM immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 6PM in Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA.
