Jane VanValkenburg

EAST LONGMEADOW - Jane (Donovan) VanValkenburg, 77, of East Longmeadow, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2019 at Care One at Redstone. Jane was born in Springfield, MA to the late John B. and Marguerite (Mulcar) Donovan. She was a graduate of Mary Burnham School for Girls, and later went on to work as a Nurses Aide for Chestnut Hill Nursing & Rehab Center before her retirement. She is survived by her four loving children, Deborah LaRoche and her husband Richard, John VanValkenburg, Thomas VanValkenburg, and Joseph VanValkenburg; two brothers, John and William Donovan; two sisters, Anne Rosivach and Marguerite Donovan; and by 8 adored grandchildren, Richard, Elizabeth, John, Joseph, Jack, Brady, Riley and Kate. Jane was predeceased by her husband and the love of her life John “Jack” VanValkenburg in 2013. All services for Jane will be private for the family.
