James Joseph Harland

James J. Harland (60) of Somers CT, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents Butler and Mary Harland in October. He leaves his wife Alison and children; James Harland, Elizabeth Harland, Allyssa Harland and Jason Sepe and grandchildren; Julianna, Mason and Max Sepe; his sister; Cathy Harland Sanders and husband Steven of Eastham, his niece Rebecca Kavey and husband Brendan, and his nephew Daniel Cimini. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jim was an electrical contractor and an electrician with the IBEW Local 7 in Springfield. Jim loved his family, was an avid golfer and softball player. He spent his summers on the golf course, the softball field or doing back flips in his pool. He will be deeply missed by his family. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-5PM on Sunday, March 7th at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., East Longmeadow, MA.
