Jaime Tudryn
February 6, 1985 ~ December 25, 2018 (age 33) 33 Years Old
Belchertown- Jaime (McCauley) Tudryn, 33, joined our Heavenly Father on Christmas Day after a short illness at Baystate Medical Center. She was surrounded by family and friends while she fought valiantly against brain complications. She is the wife of her beloved husband, Matthew Tudryn of Belchertown and mother of their son Bode, the daughter of Brent and Marianne (Carney) McCauley of East Longmeadow, sister to Shaun McCauley (Erica Roman Kelly) of Lynnfield and Chris (Andrea) McCauley of Springfield. She will be missed by her niece, Harper; nephews, Nathan and Adam; extended family and many friends. Jaime was predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph and Stacia (Adamczyk) Carney, Henry McCauley, Shirley and Elwin Luthgren; and cousin, Patrick Carney.
Jaime was a 2003 graduate of East Longmeadow High School. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from U MASS in 2007. She furthered her studies at Holyoke Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Science concentrating in Radiologic Technology. Jaime used that degree at Mercy Medical Center where she showed care and compassion while treating patients. She was inducted into the East Longmeadow Athletic Hall of Fame for her high school skiing and soccer accomplishments.
Jaime was born in a three day snow storm. She became an avid skier and worked four winters in Aspen, Colorado at Buttermilk Ski Area where she made lifelong friends. She always loved the outdoors and exercising and introducing these passions to her cherished son, Bode. Jaime enjoyed spicy foods and spending quality time with her friends.
The family would like to thank the team of wonderful people at Baystate who cared for Jaime.
Her calling hours are from 4:00PM – 8:00PM on Tuesday (January 1, 2019) in the Forastiere Smith Family Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. Her funeral services will begin at 8:30AM on Wednesday (January 2, 2019) from the funeral home. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00AM in St. Michael’s Church, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow. Jaime will be laid to rest in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Huntington Ave., in Hadley. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
