Irma F. Goodman

Irma F. Goodman, 93, of Longmeadow, MA; passed away peacefully Monday, August 20, 2018 with her loving daughter by her side. Irma was born July 25, 1925 in Springfield, MA, a daughter of the late Nathan and Jennie (Sakowitz) Frankel. She was a 1945 graduate of Mt. Ida Junior College, and was employed in retail sales for several years in the clothing industry. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Herbert M. Goodman. Irma is survived by her children Alan Goodman and his wife, Susan of Natick, MA, Carol Goodman of Stonington, CT and Bruce Goodman and his wife, Tracey of Tarzana, CA; grandchildren Noah and Wesley, Sage and Reed and Kaitlin Karkos; great-grandson Max Karkos-Klein; brother Seymour Frankel; and other loving relatives and friends. Private services will be held at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Irma’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
