June 2, 1932 – April 17, 2021
Ila M. Sierastki, 88, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Ila grew up in Southwick MA. She lived in New Britain CT for a while before moving to Granville MA. In 1958 she married her loving husband Francis and they lived in Granville MA. He predeceased her in 1989 after 31 years of marriage.
Most recently, Ila lived in Westfield MA at Westfield Arbors where she enjoyed the wonderful care and companionship they provided her.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was involved with her church and bible studies and liked knitting, sewing, baking and tending to her many houseplants; but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Donald and Walter and her sister Grace. To cherish her memories she leaves her three daughters Serena, Michelle, and Sharlene and their husbands, her nine grandchildren, and her many great grandchildren.
A service will be held for Ila at New Life Christian Center at 157 Dartmouth Street in Westfield on Saturday, (June 26th, 2021) at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ila's name may be made to Springfield Rescue Mission at P.O. Box 9045, Springfield MA 01102. Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 624 College Highway, Southwick, is entrusted with arrangements.
