Obituary

Henry J. Floran, Jr.

Chicopee – The family of Henry J. Floran, Jr. is sad to announce his passing on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center due to COVID-19. Henry’s zest for life will be remembered for eternity. He enjoyed helping others and developing friendships over the years through his involvement in music, Serenity Club of Springfield, supporting various fundraisers, various motorcycle clubs and through his work as a Printer. He was proud to celebrate his 34 year of sobriety this year. One of his greatest joys was riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Henry loved his family and friends, especially being a grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Callahan) and Henry Floran, Sr. He served his country as a United States Marine. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Heather and Jennifer Floran both of Springfield, his grandchildren Brayden Floran-Lacourse and Olivia Mendez, his brothers George and Charlie Gore, his former wife Candi (Hayes), many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his daughter Kristen Floran and his brother William Gore.
