Geraldine A. Bellini

Agawam – Geraldine “Gerry” Ann (Ziter) Bellini, 73, passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2018 with her family by her side. Geraldine was born in Springfield to the late Michael and Mary (Govine) Ziter. She liked cooking, shopping, and loved spending time on the beach. She was dedicated to maintaining the bonds of family, and was the inspiration that brought and kept several generations together. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Peter Bellini, of Agawam, whose love and care embodied the essence of marriage; her 2 children, Kristy Consolini, of Agawam, and Michael Bellini and his wife, Cindy, of Thompsons Station, TN; her 4 grandchildren whom she adored dearly, Johnathan, Dale, Olivia, and Sophia; her brother, Michael Ziter and his wife Patty; her niece Andrea Ziter; her nephew Alex Ziter; and many loving cousins. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 20th at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 833 Main St., Agawam. A visiting hour will precede the Mass from 9AM to 10AM in the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the D’Amour Center for Cancer Care, 280 Chestnut St. 6th Floor, Springfield, MA 01199.
