Francis H. LaBranche

Southwick- Francis H. LaBranche, 76, beloved husband of the late Linda(Griffin) LaBranche, passed away at home on September 23, 2017.

Francis was born in Springfield on April 18, 1941, a son of the late Henry and Vivian (Boucher) LaBranche ;but was a Southwick resident for over fifty years.

He retired from General Fiber Box, West Springfield. Following his retirement Francis went to work part time for the Southwick Parks and Recreation Dept. He enjoyed the outdoors (especially the sunshine) , hunting , fishing, video games. He was a member of the Agawam Gun Club. He is survived by his son and daughter in law Scott LaBranche and Ronda Drolett of Springfield; a daughter Michele LaBranche of West Springfield; 2 brothers, Gary LaBranche and his wife Pat, Paul LaBranche and his wife Linda, all of West Springfield; a sister, Lucienne “Toody” Sexton and her husband Edward of Florida; 3 grandchildren, Raymond LaBranche and his significant other Jennifer Hastings, Rachel LaBranche and her significant other Amanda Guppy, Cody LaBranche and his significant other Genesis Munnett; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

A private family funeral service will take place. There are no calling hours. Assisting the family is the Southwick Forastiere Family Funeral Home.
