Eric T. Bajumpaa

SPRINGFIELD - Eric T. Bajumpaa, 32, passed away unexpectedly August 26, 2021. Born February 13, 1989 in Springfield, he was a son to James and the late Linda (Schuhlen) Bajumpaa. Following graduation from high school, Eric attended and graduated from Springfield Technical Community College with an Associate in Science Degree focusing on Computer Systems Engineering Technology. He was currently employed as a Consulting Technology Engineer with Travelers Insurance and previously had been employed with Mass Mutual. Eric is survived by his children Savannah Bajumpaa (13) and Emmett Bajumpaa(5); brothers Christopher Bajumpaa (Mer Chmura) of Leicester, MA, and Daniel Bajumpaa (Lena Bassett) of Sierra Vista, AZ; father James Bajumpaa of Springfield; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Eric was predeceased by his mother Linda M. Bajumpaa on November 3, 2019. Calling hours will be held from 4-8PM on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., East Longmeadow. A funeral service for Eric will be held at 10AM on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Springfield. Due to the current Mandate, masks will be required while attending services at the funeral home.
