Elizabeth I. Strohman

SPRINGFIELD – Elizabeth “Betsy” I. Strohman, 84, passed away on July 31, 2020. Born on March 11, 1936 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ina (Thompson) Morgan. Predeceased by her husband Robert A. Strohman in October, 2013 and her brother A. Douglas Morgan in 2008, Betsy is survived by her sons Scott Strohman and his wife Chantal of King George, VA; Stephen Strohman and his wife Olivia of Springfield, MA; Sean Strohman and his wife Kathi of North Grosvenordale, CT; and Stuart Strohman and his wife Celeste Dupont of Monson, MA; five grandchildren Jason, Joshua and his wife, Megan, Oliver, Andrew and his wife Kayla and Jacob; great grandchildren Caison and Rylan, as well as her sister-in-law Gladys Morgan. Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 4-7 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 7 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Committal services will be private at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
