COLEMAN, Eleanor M. Age 89, of East Longmeadow, MA and formerly of Boston and Brookline, MA, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2019 in East Longmeadow, MA. Born January 30, 1930 in Cambridge, MA, she lived in Boston and Brookline until she moved to East Longmeadow in 2000 to be close to family. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Coleman, in 1953. She will be deeply missed by her children: Kathy Coleman and her husband Steve Clark, John Coleman and his wife Debra, and Paul Coleman and his wife Wendy. She leaves her beloved grandchildren: Andrew Clark, Scott Clark and his fiancé Anna Gluckman, Kevin Coleman, Sean Coleman and his wife Michelle, Christine McDoulett and Brian Smith, Paul Coleman and his wife Sophia, Lisa Ross and her husband Daniel, Alex Coleman, and Ben Coleman, plus her 10 cherished great-grandchildren. Eleanor's most treasured moments were spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her leisure time she enjoyed sewing, making pillows and other crafts, listening to Perry Como music, and reading Danielle Steele books. The family would like to thank the staff at the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center, in particular Charissa, Lou, Dan, and Angela for the compassionate care they gave her. Visitation will be Saturday, November 16 from 2:00-4:00pm at the Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street in EAST LONGMEADOW.
