Edwin A. Urstadt

Longmeadow – Edwin A. Urstadt, 90, died on October 10, 2018.  He was born in Canandaigua, NY to the late George W. and Lorna May (Walker) Urstadt on April 16, 1928.  A 1946 graduate of Canandaigua Academy he went on to earn his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Oregon in 1950.  Edwin served as a First Lieutenant in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.  He was a National Sales Representative for James River Graphics for 25 years retiring in 1986.  Edwin leaves his loving wife of 66 years, Joanne (Winthrop) Urstadt; his children, Christopher Urstadt and his wife Kristy of Girdwood, AK, Sandra Wong and her husband Gabriel of Ponte Vedra, FL, Candice Hoffman and her husband Ted of Issaquah, WA, Andrew Urstadt of Sparks, NV, and Eric Urstadt of North Plains, OR; 6 grandchildren, Julie, Heather and her husband Stan, Tom, Vica, Roma, and Brandy; 2 great-grandchildren, Ruby and Quentin; and a sister Jane Wheeler and her husband Jack of Canandaigua, NY. Edwin was interred in Longmeadow Cemetery on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, November 16th from 3-5PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow, MA.
