Edward M. Rahilly

Edward M. Rahilly, 81, of Feeding Hills, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Born on December 30, 1939 in Springfield, MA, Ed grew up in Chicopee, MA, with his parents, the late Christopher J. and Leonora P. (Sinnott) Rahilly. He was a graduate of Chicopee High School class of 1957 and Hampden College of Pharmacy class of 1961. He was a life-long pharmacist until his retirement in 2012. Ed loved spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling, sports, music, reading, skiing, and gardening. Edward leaves his wife of 57 years, Ann Rahilly of Feeding Hills, son Edward Rahilly II of Feeding Hills, daughter Lori Weyant and her husband John of Feeding Hills, daughter Susan Lubarsky and her husband Steve of Feeding Hills; daughter Cathy Rahilly of Westfield; seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Brett, Samantha, Joseph, Dayna, and Sydney; his three brothers, James Rahilly of Wilbraham, Patrick Rahilly of Lady Lakes, FL, and Michael Rahilly and his wife Jackie of Chicopee, his sister-in-laws Carol Rahilly of Feeding Hills and Frances Rahilly of West Springfield, and many nieces and nephews. Edward is predeceased by his brothers, Stephen, Christopher, Daniel, and David, his sisters, Mary and Carol, his nephew, Curtis, and sister-in-laws, Carolyn, Dorothy, and Louise. Edward’s funeral will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church, 1601 Springfield St., Feeding Hills at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Springfield Street Cemetery in Feeding Hills. Calling hours are on Thursday April 8, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 985 Main St., Agawam.
