Edward Majgier

Ed Majgier, 78, passed away peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at home with is loving family by his side. Ed was born in Chicopee on February 24, 1941. Raised in Chicopee, he was a graduate of Chicopee HS and earned his bachelor degree from Western New England College. Ed worked at Westvaco/US Envelope for over 44 years. He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Alice (Wiecorek) and his two daughters Lisa Majgier of Charleston, SC, and Beth Orszulak of Wilbraham, MA; his grandchildren Monica Dynak and her husband Jason, Samantha Orszulak, and Walter Orszulak; and great grandchild Aiden Dynak. Sadly, Edward was predeceased by his grandson Stanley Orszulak in 1995. Ed was a godly man that was always ready to help others. He volunteered at many Christian organizations and was always ready to pray for those in need. A memorial service will be held for Edward on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Evangel Assembly of God, 348 Stony Hill Rd, Wilbraham, MA.
